Whether you dread or look forward to your birthday each year, there’s one benefit we can pretty much all agree on: It’s fun to get free stuff. Aside from whatever gifts or treats you might get from your loved ones, you can also cash in on some birthday offers from a number of big-name stores and restaurants. From free ice creams and donuts to free beauty supplies, you could make an entire day (or week) out of collecting your birthday freebies.

We'll be honest, though, a lot of the birthday offers out there are a bit deceiving, requiring you to buy or spend a certain amount to earn your reward. So, below, we're only including the best birthday freebies that won't cost you anything to receive (though you may have to enter your email a few times).

Ulta 

You can get a free beauty sample during your birth month when you sign up for Ulta Beauty Rewards and create a member profile. (Just make sure to enter your birth date by the 8th of your birth month to be eligible for the benefit.) It's also worth noting that the birthday freebies at Ulta are only available while supplies last—so it's a good idea to claim your gift in the beginning of your birth month, even if your birthday isn't until the 31st.

IKEA

You'll receive a "birthday coupon and treat" when you sign up to be an IKEA Family member. While the website doesn't explicitly state what the offer is, others have reported that past offers have included a free entree and dessert from the cafe and a $10 off coupon. (Note: Your IKEA Family account must be set up 15 days prior to your birthday month to claim this offer.) Signing up for the membership will also earn you a free coffee or tea every time you visit an IKEA store.

Krispy Kreme

You'll receive a free birthday treat when you sign up for Krispy Kreme Rewards. The website doesn't explicitly state what the treat is, however, others have reported that it entails a free donut and coffee during your birth month. (You can also claim a free donut from the chain on National Doughnut Day every year, which falls on the first Friday in June.)

Baskin-Robbins

You'll receive a coupon for a free 2.5-oz. scoop on your birthday when you sign up for the Baskin-Robbins Birthday Club.

Olive Garden

You can receive a free dessert when you dine in to Olive Garden on your birthday—no signing up or enrolling required.

Buffalo Wild Wings

Get six free wings during your birthday month when you sign up for the Buffalo Wild Wings Blazin' Rewards system.

Cheesecake Factory
