Always up for an adventure, she'd try almost anything for In Season's "We Tried It" column including an alligator roast, a Jetsons-like at-home press-a-button cocktail machine, and an ant-and-scorpion-topped wood-fired pizza. Experience Tara has also held positions at Men’s Journal, Food Network Magazine, Popular Mechanics, Us Weekly, and Details, and was the founding editor in chief of RVLiving, the award-winning upscale domestic-travel magazine for the motorhoming baby boomer.Earlier in her career, she wrote restaurant reviews for Time Out New York's Eating and Drinking Guide and was the managing editor for Rolling Stone's 50th anniversary book.In 2013 her book, Airstream: The Silver RV was rated Highbrow/Brilliant on New York magazine’s "Approval Matrix;" in 2020 she wrote the foreword to The Ultimate Spam Cookbook and in 2022 she contributed a recipe to The Delmonico Way, a cookbook celebrating the legendary NYC restaurant.Tara is also a faculty member of Columbia University's Columbia Publishing Course, an acclaimed training ground for future editors, a certified life coach, and a graduate of Weeki Wachee Springs Mermaid Camp.
